#6 LAGOS,
PORTUGAL

Tucked
away in Portugal's Algarve, Lagos is an old sea port that once
thrived on the back of its maritime industries, but now relies
heavily on the tourist dollar. A sleepy little town during the
winter, Lagos really bursts into life during the summer months.
Whilst
stunning rock formations overlook beautiful, golden beaches, its
Lagos' party scene that really brings in the tourists. That said,
those exquisite beaches and fresh Atlantic seawater provide the
perfect remedy to the previous night's excesses.
Lagos
is definitely not about big, fancy clubs with strict dress codes.
Its about small, laidback bars, booze cruises and all-night beach
parties. If you're feet, shoulders and knees are covered, you're
probably over-dressed!
Holes
in the wall like 'Inside Out' and the 'Red Eye' are the places to get
messed up whilst drinking 'fishbowls' and dancing the night away on
the bar or whichever piece of furniture you think can support your
weight.
