#5 LONDON,
UNITED KINGDOM

For
the majority of English speakers, London is the first-stop on their
European tour. With something for everybody, it definitely throws
its hat into the ring for the title of Europe's “Party HQ”.
With
superclubs
like 'Ministry of Sound' and 'Fabric' attracting the best DJs from
around the globe, clubbers are well-catered for.
Shoreditch
and Soho cater for trendy tastes, whilst further east caters for an
even edgier crowd.
For
those whose tastes venture more towards live music, there are
terrific scenes around Denmark Street, Camden and Notting Hill.
If
your party tastes are a little less raucous, London also has a
thriving comedy circuit, along with many cocktail and lounge bars.
Of course, there are also thousands of cosy, old-fashioned English
pubs in which to sip on your pint.
London
does come with a warning, however. It can be a very expensive city
in which to party hard, so, if it is your first stop, make sure you
don't spend all your money there and miss out on what the rest of
Europe has to offer!
