TOP 10 EUROPEAN PARTY SPOTS

#2 BERLIN, GERMANY

PIC: Berlin's famous 'Kit Kat Klub'

Of all the stereotypes applied to the German people over the years, the one that I've found really rings true is that they love to party – and know how to do it right! The nightlife scene in their re-united capital is testament to it.

As with many cities oppressed under a communist regime, citizens of Berlin now take life by the scruff of the neck and live life to its fullest. There are no rules on how to have fun in Berlin – if it feels right do it – and the party vibe there is all the better for it.

Berlin nightlife, therefore, is incredibly varied. Of course, there are your more traditional big, dance clubs like 'Watergate', but there are also many indie and punk rock clubs, quirky bars, warehouse parties and cabarets like the famous 'Kit Kat Klub'. There are even underground bars in old World War II bunkers where mass games of ping-pong involving dozens of players are the star attraction. It sounds odd but its bundles of fun!

Berlin truly has something to offer everyone, no matter what kind of party you're looking for.
